Centre Hill Cottage farmstay retreat is suitable for up to four people. The cottage is set on a gentle, north-facing slope amongst mature trees, especially some fine eucalypts and cabbage trees. A 50-metre walk connects to the farmhouse of the Centre Hill Organic Farm and any assistance you may need from the proprietor, Ian Blakemore.

Lounge & Dinning Area

The cottage's main feature is the large lounge/dining area which features, at one end, double doors leading to the broad timber patio decking, and at the other end a cosy woodburner that fills the cottage with warmth on winter evenings.

Kitchen

The living room has a spacious kitchen, which includes a refrigerator, microwave, benchtop electric cooker, and a full range of cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils.

Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and superb views to the countryside, the other with two single beds and ample storage room. Electric blankets and bedding are supplied.

Baths

The cottage has a luxurious bathroom that includes: heated floor tiles, modern shower, washbasins, three-person raised spa bath (with a view), and fan extractor. Two separate toilets are installed, one indoors and the other attached outside. A favorite feature is the outdoor bath tub, with hot and cold water and peaceful views over farmland to the setting sun and the Southern Alps.

Breakfast, Food & Wine

A special highlight of your stay is breakfast supplied by your host, Ian. It includes freshly homebaked bread, organic fruits, cereal and condiments. Your stay also includes a complimentary food hamper and wine on arrival.

There is private covered parking behind the cottage with a covered way connecting the garage with the cottage. The environment is smoke-free.

Microlight Lessons

Enjoy a trial flight with a Geraldine Flying Group Instructor where you will actually learn to fly the plane. A Rans S6 Microlight aircraft is located on an airstrip only a few minutes from the cottage.
